Dayton’s Holiday Window Display, Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis 2021

The former Dayton's department store building on Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis is seen here during the 2021 holiday season. For many decades, Dayton's was a prominent retail anchor in downtown Minneapolis, and its elaborate holiday window displays were a significant cultural tradition that drew large crowds. Although the store closed in 2007, its historic building remains a notable structure on Nicollet Mall, and the tradition of holiday displays in its windows continued in 2021.
