Minneapolis Police 3rd Precinct: Razor Wire and Barricades

Police station still surrounded by razor wire in Minneapolis
Razor wire and concrete barricades continue to surround the former Minneapolis Police 3rd Precinct building on Lake Street. The station was significantly damaged by fire during protests in May 2020 following the murder of George Floyd. The building is undergoing renovation to be repurposed as a community voting center, reflecting a shift in its function and a response to the events of 2020.
