Minneapolis Police Arrests at Noise Demo Protest, Mill Ruins Park
Police vehicles are present at Mill Ruins Park in Minneapolis on New Year's Eve, following a protest. Approximately 100 individuals gathered in response to a nationwide call to protest the imprisonment of state inmates. The protest escalated when the jail was spray-painted, leading to a significant police response involving Minneapolis Police, State Patrol, Golden Valley PD, and Hennepin Sheriffs, resulting in numerous arrests. Mill Ruins Park, located on the Mississippi River, is a historic site that was once the heart of Minneapolis's flour milling industry.
