Minneapolis Police, MAD DADs Board Up Sheraton Hotel

Minneapolis Police, in collaboration with members of MAD DADs (Men Against Destruction - Defending Against Drugs and Social Disorder), secured the Sheraton Hotel in Minneapolis. This effort involved clearing out and boarding up the hotel property. The action was undertaken during the Minneapolis Uprising, a period of significant civil unrest and protest that followed the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. The boarding up aimed to protect the hotel from further damage and maintain security amidst the widespread protests.
