Katharina Fritsch’s Hahn/Cock sculpture at Walker Art Center, Minneapolis

Katharina Fritsch's "Hahn/Cock" sculpture stands illuminated at night outside the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. This ultramarine rooster, constructed from fiberglass and steel, was installed in 2017 as part of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden's redesign. The sculpture is positioned on a concrete plinth overlooking Hennepin Avenue and Interstate 94, offering a striking contrast to the adjacent Basilica of St. Mary and the passing traffic.
