Burned USPS Van, Minnehaha Post Office, Minneapolis

Burned out USPS van inside a burned post office
A burned United States Postal Service (USPS) van rests within the fire-damaged Minnehaha Post Office in South Minneapolis. This facility, located on 27th Avenue South, sustained extensive damage during the civil unrest that followed the May 25, 2020 death of George Floyd. As a vital piece of public infrastructure, the Minnehaha Station provided essential mail services to the local community. The destruction of the building and its contents, including the delivery vehicle, reflects the widespread property damage experienced during the Minneapolis Uprising.
