Seagull on the East River waterfront in Midtown Manhattan, with the United Nations Secretariat Building and the Chrysler Building in the background. The green-glass Secretariat, completed in 1952, is the main administrative building of the United Nations headquarters complex. The Chrysler Building, completed in 1930, remains one of New York City's best-known Art Deco skyscrapers.
