Murals on Boarded Windows, Master Collision, West Lake Street

We love lake street graffiti on boards
The Master Collision auto repair shop on West Lake Street in Minneapolis features murals painted on its boarded windows. These artworks were created following the widespread unrest in May 2020, which occurred after the killing of George Floyd. The murals, some displaying messages like 'WE <3 Lake Street,' symbolize community resilience and artistic expression during the period of rebuilding. A 'We're Open' banner indicates the business has resumed operations, continuing to serve the Uptown Minneapolis area.
Photo taken in August 2020.
