June 2021 — "RIP Winston Smith" written on the side of a business at Lake and Hennepin. Winston Smith was killed by a Federal Task Force on June 3rd.

June 2021 — Deona Marie memorial at Lake & Girard. Marie was killed when Nicholas Kraus drove his vehicle into those protesting the Federal Task Force killing of Winston Smith 10 days prior.

June 2021 — Minneapolis protesters continue to hold space through the night around Winston Smith and Deona Marie memorials. Stronger barricades blocking vehicles on W. Lake between Hennepin and Fremont where I saw several references to "Boogie World", Boogie is Winston Smith's middle name. Winston Smith was killed by law enforcement on June 3rd and Deona Marie was killed when a man drove a vehicle through protesters barricades.
