Ceasefire now signs on former 3rd precinct
Posters hang from the former Minneapolis police third precinct. The precinct was abandoned after it was burned in May 2020 following the murder of George Floyd. It has sat untouched ever since.

On November 2nd, 2023, 3 years 5 months after the Minneapolis police 3rd precinct was burned in the days after George Floyd’s murder, City Council has voted 8-5 to approve a replacement site. Now called a “Community Safety Center”, the plan is to rebuild a half mile away at 2633 Minnehaha Av.

All Cops are Derek Chauvin

Around a thousand protesters gathered outside of the Holiday Gas station at Cedar and 36th in South Minneapolis seeking justice for Dolal Idd. Dolal Idd was shot and killed by Minneapolis Police on December 30th, 2020 during a traffic stop. This was the first police officer killing since George Floyd a mile away on May 25th, 2020.
