This afternoon at the Whipple federal building where expired dicks were being thrown at ICE vehicles and those believed to be agitators. The building has been a constant place of protest since December.

Whipple has been used as a “base” for the thousands of federal agents coming and going as well as a holding center for those that’ve been detained.

Traffic calming measures on a South Minneapolis street on January 28, 2026. ICE vehicles have increasingly been driving recklessly through these residential neighborhoods. Some people have placed small signs or barricades out to slow traffic while not obstructing the road.

Protesters in downtown Minneapolis on the day Greg Bovino was reportedly set to leave. They are furthering their call for a general strike on January 30th.
