Rise & Remember Festival at George Floyd Square, Minneapolis

The third annual Rise and Remember festival, organized by the George Floyd Global Memorial, took place at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis. This event honors the memory of George Floyd and serves as a community gathering. The festival concluded with a performance by hip hop artist Chubb Rock. George Floyd Square, formerly the intersection of Chicago Avenue and 38th Street, became a focal point for protests following George Floyd's murder in May 2020.
