Minneapolis Police Clear Protest Site at Lake and Hennepin

Minneapolis Police officers clear protesters and barricades from the intersection of Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue. The protests began following the deaths of Winston Smith on June 3rd and Deona Marie on June 13th. Smith was killed by officers from a Federal Task Force serving a warrant, while Marie died when Nicholas Kraus drove his vehicle into a crowd protesting Smith's killing. The area is a significant commercial and residential corridor in Minneapolis.
