Demolition of the former K-Mart on Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis is underway. The building sustained damage during the 2020 Minneapolis Uprising and subsequently served as a temporary post office for other facilities that were destroyed. Its demolition marks the end of a significant period for the site, which was a retail anchor in the community.
