Ceasefire & Protest Signs at Former Minneapolis 3rd Precinct

Ceasefire now signs on fencing
Protest signs advocating for a ceasefire and social justice hang on a fence at the former Minneapolis Police Third Precinct. This site, located at Lake Street and Minnehaha Avenue, was abandoned after being burned in May 2020 during the Minneapolis Uprising, following the murder of George Floyd. Since then, the precinct has remained untouched, serving as a public space for community expression and protest art. The messages, including 'Cease Fire Now' and 'Pledge to Resist the Genocide,' reflect ongoing social and political concerns, transforming the damaged structure into a canvas for public discourse.
