Mae Roberts, mother of Calvin Horton Jr., addresses attendees at a vigil held outside Cadillac Pawn on Lake Street in Minneapolis. The gathering commemorated what would have been her son's 44th birthday. Calvin Horton Jr. was killed on May 27th by the owner of the pawn shop during the unrest that occurred in Minneapolis following the death of George Floyd. The vigil served as a public call for justice and remembrance for Horton, whose name is also visible in graffiti on the building behind the speakers.
