February 2026 — Today in Minneapolis, those demanding justice for everyone shot and/or killed by federal agents over the last 2 months, protesters marched from Stewart Park to the memorial of Alex Pretti. Pretti was shot and killed by border patrol agents while he was unarmed on January 24, 2026. Video shows agents removing a gun from Pretti prior to shots being fired. The “Day Out For Democracy” rally and march was organized by Minnesota AFL-CIO.

January 2026 — Thousands march through downtown Minneapolis on January 23, 2026. Marching through -30F windchills, they are protesting the actions of federal agents that have been deployed to the city since December.

January 2026 — Portland Avenue and 34th Street in South Minneapolis where City of Minneapolis officials have confirmed an ICE agent shot an observer. A neighbor who saw what happened told local MPR news: "She was trying to turn around, and the ICE agent was in front of her car, and he pulled out a gun and put it right in — like, his midriff was on her bumper — and he reached across the hood of the car and shot her in the face like three, four times,”
