February 2021 — February 18, 2021 - Minneapolis -- Security measures taking shape around the courthouse where Derek Chauvin will be on trial for the May 2020 murder of George Floyd.

February 2021 — February 22, 2021 - Minneapolis -- Barbed wire fencing put up around government buildings in downtown Minneapolis in preperation for the Derek Chauvin murder trial.

June 2021 — The Hennepin County Public Safety Facility which houses the county jail in downtown Minneapolis. Security fencing around the facility was installed prior to the Derek Chauvin murder trial.

October 2023 — Crime victim and the families of held a rally at the gov center today. Sharing stories of frustration with the leniency and in some cases the lack of any charges by County Attorney Mary Moriarty. Across the street permanent fencing was being installed around the county jail.
