The Luminary Loppet finally happened last night, although not on the Lake, after being pushed back from January due to heavy snow and warm weather. Thousands came out to whats easily the most lit event each year.

“DONT DEMO ROOF DEPOT” is the message on 394 as environmental groups continue the years long fight over a South Minneapolis warehouse and pollution. The city wants their public works facilities on the former EPA superfund site. Community groups want housing and an urban farm.
