Moon Palace Books Minneapolis: Justice and Love Graffiti

Graffiti art reading "Justice" and "Love" adorns the boarded-up facade of Moon Palace Books in South Minneapolis. The boards were installed in May 2020, following the murder of George Floyd, as a protective measure for businesses in the area. Moon Palace Books notably refused to allow police to stage on their property during the subsequent protests, instead offering their space as a medic station for injured individuals. The "Abolish The Police" message, previously displayed on banners and boards, reflects the sentiment of many during the Minneapolis Uprising.
