Minneapolis Protest Against ICE Operation Metro Surge

Thousands marched through South Minneapolis in protest of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in the city. The protest, part of "Operation Metro Surge," saw participants expressing dissent against the presence of numerous ICE agents. One sign held by a protester depicted a caricature of Donald Trump with Nazi imagery and the text "It's feeling a lot like 1933," referencing the year Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany. This imagery aimed to draw parallels between contemporary immigration policies and historical authoritarianism.
