George Floyd Global Memorial & the George Floyd Square community will host the 3rd annual Rise & Remember Festival. They say the free May 27th event will have a “concert from a surprise national artist”. Paid events include a conference at Best Buy HQ and a Paisley Park Gala.
In 2021, Common performed “Glory” at the first annual Rise & Remember. The festival coincides with the anniversary of George Floyd’s murder.
