Anti-Police Precinct Flyer on Martin Olav Sabo Bridge

A protest flyer is affixed to the Martin Olav Sabo Bridge in South Minneapolis, part of the Midtown Greenway. This radical art expresses opposition to the planned replacement of the Minneapolis Police 3rd Precinct. The new "community safety center" at 2633 Minnehaha Avenue is located approximately a quarter mile from the bridge. This facility replaces the original precinct building, which was burned during the Minneapolis Uprising in May 2020. The city anticipates the new building will open in the first quarter of 2025, nearly five years after the original structure's destruction.
