Footpaths, docks, stairways and tuk-tuks around Santa Cruz La Laguna and neighboring Lake Atitlán villages

This photo set shows trails, shorelines and village infrastructure in and around Santa Cruz La Laguna on Lake Atitlán. Photographs display stone stairways, dirt paths, bamboo fences, docks and lakeside homes that connect settlements on steep slopes. Some images show local transport, including tuk-tuks in nearby San Pedro La Laguna and small motorboats at village docks. The village is accessible primarily by boat or footpath; a single winding road links the dock to the settlement and a rough road to Sololá carries heavy goods. Electricity in the village is intermittent and many households rely on basic construction and locally sourced materials.
