A notice on the doors of the Karmel Mall on Lake Street. This whistle is a symbol of looking out for your neighbors. When you’re driving or walking and you see ICE in the area, the whistle represents a warning to stay aware. It’s a reminder for people in the community to be cautious, especially when leaving their building, because ICE might be nearby. The idea is simply to protect one another and stay informed.
