MN National Guard in Cedar Riverside, Minneapolis

Members of the Minnesota National Guard were deployed in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis on January 17, 2026. Their presence was in response to a planned white nationalist march originating from downtown Minneapolis. The neighborhood, known for its diverse population, became a focal point for this event.
