Liège-Guillemins Station: Modern Transport Architecture
Liège-Guillemins Station in Liège, Belgium, is a major high-speed rail hub designed by Santiago Calatrava and opened in 2009. Its expansive glass and steel canopy creates an open, transparent atmosphere, housing five platforms and ten tracks. The station replaced a 1958 structure, symbolizing Liège's modernization and serving as a key transport link and a prominent architectural landmark.
