Minneapolis Protest Against ICE Operation Metro Surge

Thousands of people marched through South Minneapolis in protest of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in the city. The "Operation Metro Surge" campaign, which began in late June 2019, involved a significant increase in ICE agents and enforcement actions across the Twin Cities. Protesters carried signs with messages such as "Fuck ICE," "Death to Fascists," and "No One is Illegal on Stolen Land." The demonstration highlighted community opposition to federal immigration policies and enforcement tactics.
