Westminster Presbyterian Church sits at Nicollet Mall and 12th Street in downtown Minneapolis. Founded in 1857, it's one of the city's oldest congregations and has occupied its current Romanesque-style building since 1897. On this Election Day, a digital marquee reading "Vote by Nov. 3!" stood alongside a sidewalk sign marking the church as a polling location. Churches and other community institutions across Minneapolis regularly polling sites during municipal, state, and federal elections.
