September 2022 — 2 years ago the city closed a large part of the Little Earth Trail after tents returned to the Wall of Forgotten Natives, where homeless gathered in 2018. With the fencing, the city also made it a graveyard of old metal street poles and concrete barricades. It's still closed off.
February 2024 — City rubble placed in an empty lot on 14th Avenue South in Minneapolis. The lot was the site of an encampment in the summer of 2022. In recent months, the city has begun filling these lots with rubble to prevent encampments from forming again.

Among the protesters demands are that the school “divest from all companies complicit in war crimes and human rights violations.

June 2024 — Concrete barricades in the grass in South Minneapolis. Officials began filling empty lots that encampments previously occupied with rubble from the city. Concrete chunks and street poles have been used in other locations.
