New York City Trains
Photographs documenting station finishes, signage, tactile strips, exposed piping and rolling stock across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens
New York City, NY
Photographs made between May 2005 and September 2019 show New York City's transit network, including subway station interiors, platform views, elevated structures such as Queensboro Plaza and commuter-rail areas at Grand Central Terminal. Images document station finishes, signage standards including MTA Helvetica, yellow tactile warning strips, exposed piping in tunnels and examples of rolling stock used on subway and Metro-North services. The collection covers stations and passenger movement across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Together the photographs provide reference material for station conditions, wayfinding standards and passenger circulation over the 2005–2019 period.
