The United States Postal Service (USPS) Lake Street Station in Minneapolis sustained significant fire damage during the Minneapolis Uprising. The brick building shows signs of charring and boarded-up windows, with white graffiti on its facade stating, "WE LOVE OUR POSTAL PATRONS! WE WILL BE BACK TO SERVE YOU!" This message reflects the station's commitment to its community despite the extensive damage from arson. As a critical piece of public infrastructure, the Lake Street Station provides essential postal services to residents and businesses in the surrounding Minneapolis neighborhood.
