This granite peak, formerly known as Harney Peak, is a site of significant cultural importance to the Lakota Sioux people. The surrounding landscape of Custer State Park, characterized by rocky terrain and scattered pine trees, is enveloped in mist, creating a serene and solitary atmosphere.
