Cherry reflections at Walker Sculpture Garden
The Spoonbridge Cherry sculpture, a prominent artwork by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, is situated in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. This iconic piece, installed in 1988, is a cast aluminum sculpture painted in a vibrant red, resembling a giant cherry. It is a beloved landmark within the garden, which itself is an outdoor extension of the Walker Art Center.

The Basilica of Saint Mary stands at 1600 Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis, completed in 1926 as the first basilica designated in the United States. Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins, opened in 2010 on the north side of downtown near the Mississippi River.
