Minneapolis Peavey Plaza: Reflections of Architecture and Trees

Peavey Plaza in downtown Minneapolis is a public space designed in the 1970s as part of the city's urban development initiatives. The plaza features a large reflecting pool, tiered seating, and surrounding modern architecture. It was intended to provide a gathering place and a respite from the urban environment. The plaza has also been a site for public events and, notably, was a focal point during the 2020 Minneapolis Uprising.
