Minneapolis Officer Jamal Mitchell Memorial at Police Station

A temporary memorial has been established outside the Minneapolis Police Department's 4th Precinct in honor of Officer Jamal Mitchell. Officer Mitchell was killed on May 30, 2024, while responding to a mass shooting incident. The memorial features numerous floral tributes, American flags, balloons, and personal notes placed on and around a police vehicle, reflecting the community's grief and respect for his service.
