The Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) skyway connects buildings within the Hennepin Healthcare complex in downtown Minneapolis. This elevated walkway provides a weather-protected passage for patients, staff, and visitors between medical facilities. HCMC, established in 1972, is a major public hospital serving the Twin Cities metropolitan area and is a key component of the city's downtown infrastructure.
