The Rise of Icarus opened at Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park in Wisconsin Dells in 2024, rising 145 feet and marketed as the tallest waterslide in the United States. Mt. Olympus marked the slide's debut with its annual Fourth of July fireworks display, a long-running holiday tradition at the park. The show went on that night even as rain forced postponements at several other Wisconsin Dells attractions.
