Minneapolis: Protest Sign Outside Hennepin County Courthouse During Kim Potter Trial

A protest sign stands outside the Hennepin County Government Center in Minneapolis during the jury deliberations in the trial of former police officer Kim Potter. The sign reads, "Where there is no accountability there will be no responsibility. Convict Potter." The trial stemmed from the April 2021 shooting death of Daunte Wright during a traffic stop in nearby Brooklyn Center. The courthouse serves as the primary judicial building for Hennepin County, the most populous county in Minnesota.
