Minneapolis: Flyers protest proposed 3rd Precinct rebuild
Taken April 2023
Flyers protesting the proposed rebuilding of the Minneapolis Police Department's 3rd Precinct are displayed on a wooden structure. The flyers, which read "NO NEW THIRD. NOT NOW. NOT EVER." and "WE REMEMBER GEORGE FLOYD. WE DEMAND ABOLITION.", reference the precinct's destruction during the 2020 George Floyd protests. The city had been holding "community listening sessions" to gather input on whether to rebuild the precinct at its original location or elsewhere.
