A "Trail Detour" sign provides navigation for cyclists and pedestrians around construction for the Southwest Light Rail Transit (SWLRT) project in Minneapolis. The map details rerouted paths, indicating temporary closures along popular routes like the Cedar Lake Trail and the Kenilworth Corridor. This major public works initiative, one of Minnesota's largest infrastructure projects, aims to extend light rail service from downtown Minneapolis into the southwestern suburbs. Construction has impacted the use of these urban trails since the late 2010s, necessitating these temporary navigational aids.
