Wendy’s and Fireworks, 26th Ave S, Minneapolis

A Wendy’s restaurant on 26th Avenue South in Minneapolis is seen at night on May 27, 2020, with fireworks overhead and vehicle light trails crossing the street in the foreground. The photograph was made on the second day of major protests in Minneapolis following the death of George Floyd. Graffiti on the building and the late-night activity place the fast-food outlet within the unrest affecting commercial corridors in south Minneapolis.
