A protester holds a sign reading "Justice for Winston Smith" on Lake Street in Minneapolis. This protest occurred following the June 3rd killing of Winston Smith by a Federal Task Force. The following day, Deona Marie was killed when a driver intentionally struck protesters demonstrating against Smith's death. The events sparked further unrest and protests in the city.
