Trump Stickers on Electrical Box, Lake Street, Minneapolis

Stickers spelling out "Trump" are affixed to an electrical box at the corner of Blaisdell Avenue and Lake Street in South Minneapolis. This location was a focal point during the Minneapolis Uprising in the summer of 2020, following the murder of George Floyd. The presence of political messaging on public infrastructure reflects the charged atmosphere of the presidential election occurring during that period. The electrical box itself is a piece of urban infrastructure, serving to house and protect electrical equipment essential for the functioning of the surrounding neighborhood.
