Toni Braxton Pepsi advertisement on the Flamingo Hotel facade in Las Vegas.
The Flamingo opened in December 1946, financed in part by mobster Bugsy Siegel, making it the third resort to open on what became the Las Vegas Strip. Little of the original building remains after decades of renovations and expansions, but the Flamingo name and its original site have stayed in continuous operation longer than any other Strip property. The hotel's exterior walls have periodically carried large-scale advertising, including this Diet Pepsi campaign featuring Toni Braxton, who signed with Pepsi as a spokesperson during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Caesars Entertainment owns and operates the Flamingo today.
