The Crazy Horse Memorial, located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, is a mountain monument under construction. It is being carved to honor the Lakota leader Crazy Horse. The project, initiated by sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski in 1948, is intended to stand as a symbol of Native American culture and heritage. The monument is carved into the mountain itself, and its scale is immense, with the face alone expected to be larger than Mount Rushmore's presidential figures. It remains a privately funded project and a significant tourist attraction.

Bronze statue of Brett Favre at Hancock High School football stadium in Kiln, Mississippi.
Brett Favre grew up in Kiln and starred at Hancock North Central High School before his college career at Southern Mississippi and his NFL run with the Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets, and Minnesota Vikings. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016. The bronze statue on the school grounds depicts him in throwing form and stands enclosed by a wrought-iron fence beside the football stadium's track and field.
