A white SUV painted with "#StopTheSteal," QAnon references, and an image of Donald Trump was parked near the Minnesota State Capitol on November 14, 2020. The vehicle carried the phrase "Still Your President" alongside an American flag mounted on its rear rack. It appeared during a rally in St. Paul that drew supporters contesting the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. QAnon, a conspiracy movement built around unfounded claims of a secret cabal opposed by Trump, gained visibility at many such gatherings that fall.

Its front plaza and surrounding mall have long served as the traditional site for protests and political gatherings in St. Paul, from labor demonstrations to Second Amendment rallies. Many in the crowd carried flags and signs referencing unproven claims of ballot fraud that Trump and his allies raised in the weeks following the election.
