Delegates at the 2024 Republican National Convention — Delegates and attendees gather outside the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, during the 2024 Republican National Convention. The Fiserv Forum, a multi-purpose arena, serves as the home of the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association and hosts a variety of sporting events, concerts, and other public gatherings. Its construction was completed in 2018, and it became the venue for the Republican National Convention in 2024, a significant event in the American political calendar.

Delegate wearing patriotic cowboy hat at 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. — The 2024 Republican National Convention ran from July 15 to July 18 at Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum, formally nominating Donald Trump and running mate JD Vance. Roughly 2,500 delegates attended along with thousands of alternates, guests, and credentialed media. Attendees frequently wore homemade and vendor-sold merchandise — flags, buttons, and novelty hats among them — as a form of self-expression tied to their support for the ticket. Milwaukee, chosen in part for its battleground-state significance in Wisconsin, hosted the convention for the first time in the city's history.
