Loring Greenway is a landscaped pedestrian corridor connecting Loring Park to Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis, built in the late 1970s as part of a redevelopment linking the park to the retail core. The passage runs behind a mix of apartment buildings and commercial structures, and its brick walls have long attracted unofficial murals and graffiti, including a recurring Snoopy character repainted over the years by different hands. Someone added a speech bubble reading "Free Gaza" beside the figure, turning a familiar piece of neighborhood art into a message tied to the Israel-Gaza conflict. The greenway's informal gallery of street art has made it a small but persistent fixture of public expression in the area.
