US Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings, opened in 2016 on the site of the former Metrodome in downtown Minneapolis. The venue seats about 66,000 for football and holds a roof made of ETFE panels, the largest such installation in North America at the time of construction. Beyond NFL games, the stadium has hosted Super Bowl LII, the 2018 NCAA Final Four, and numerous concerts. Crowd-control barriers and chain-link fencing of the kind seen here are routinely set up around the perimeter for event security and pedestrian management on game days.
